Company:

Established cyber security and product engineering consultancy with over 1400 global HC and $70MM ARR. The business already sells into Google, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, ServiceNow, Datadog and various other big tech leaders. This is a newly created position. The business has a big concentration of customers in the cyber security space. They do sell into Banks, EV companies, healthcare companies. They offer MLOps services, professional services, DevOps and DevSecOps. They also have 2 SOC’s in the US and sell MSSP’s. The ideal candidate will have cybersecurity experience ideally in observability but this is not a requirement.

Location: 100% remote in San Francisco Bay Area, CA

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain deep-level partnerships with customers to foster long-term cooperation and success.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and be a point of escalation: Work with support teams to deliver outstanding service to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with all other teams (Sales, Product, R&D, Finance, Engineering and executive leadership team) to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Be the voice of the customer: Proactively gather feedback on product and service and work internally to better meet customer needs.
  • Educate and enable customers on our products: run training sessions and create training materials for your customers.

Who You Are:

  • Highly motivated to deliver Enterprise Security products (Observability, DevSecOps, Cloud and Container Security) the Technical Account Manager role and add value to the Customer Success team.
  • Client-facing experience: Have experience in a B2B enterprise customer facing role, with a proven track record of managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Technical aptitude: While technical savviness is preferred, a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
  • Accountable and self-motivated: You are eager to learn every day, own timelines, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills: Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborative mindset: Work collaboratively with teams across the company. Be a team player.
  • Problem-solving skills: Comfortable leading and resolving complex issues, with strict attention to detail.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, or a related field is preferred. We are also open to candidates who have demonstrated learning or working experience in technical topics.
  • Experience in B2B software, SQL, Javascript, Kibana and other cloud and software systems is advantageous.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience consulting and / or selling consulting services preferably in the big technology industry ideally focused in software engineerings
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a customer-facing capacity.
  • Extensive experience partnering with sales to ensure you are exceeding revenue targets.
  • DevSecOps or Observability oriented cyber security experience is preferred; Relevant accreditation is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT security strategies, products, and operations
  • Pre and Post Sales Experience supporting complex consulting IT Services (ideally in product engineering)
  • Experience in Product positions will be an advantage
